This series of photos shows a diorama I built many years ago. It was done for a contest by DOWNTOWN DECO - to show "The other side of the tracks". Downtown Deco makes a great line of seedy looking masonry structures, built from hydrocal plaster. I jumped at the chance to model a totally different era than I usually do. I decided that the decade of the seventies was the seediest of all. What fun it was! Oh...I won the contest too! All these pictures were taken on the 2 X 4 foot diorama, I managed to squeeze in over 20 structures, many by DOWNTOWN DECO.
